Captain’s
Choice
A handicapped four-player scramble with captain selected by the
team. All ladies tee off and captain selects best drive. All players hit second
shot from that spot, placing ball in fairway, bunker, rough, etc. within one
club-length (estimate to save time) of original ball but no closer to the hole.
Procedure continues until ball is holed out. Each player’s drive must be used
at least twice. Must mark whose drive was used on each hole. Three players:
teams with only three players still play four balls. The first person that tees
off will play a fourth ball tee-to-green. Continue this same rotation for the 9
holes. 50% of the average team handicap will be subtracted from the gross
score. Low net score wins.
